Terms of Sale
Who sells
TunedMic is sold by its developer. By creating an account or paying you confirm that you have read these terms, the Licence Agreement, the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimer, and agree to them.
What you buy
A licence key for the TunedMic macOS app. The licence is perpetual and includes updates for the period stated at purchase: one year for the standard licence, or for as long as updates are published for the "forever with all updates" licence. A renewal adds one year of updates to an existing licence. Current prices are on the Pricing page.
No trial, no refunds
There is no trial and no free tier. Before buying, listen to the before/after samples and check the requirements on the Download page. The key is delivered in full the moment payment clears, so payments are final and non-refundable. Where the mandatory consumer law of your country gives you a stronger right, that law applies.
Payment
Payments are processed by lava.top. We never receive or store your card details. lava.top may email you about creating an account on their side; that message comes from them.
Delivery
The key appears in your account right after payment and is sent to your email. Keep it: you need it to activate the app.
Reversed payments
If a payment is reversed, charged back or cancelled by the payment system, we may mark the key revoked and stop serving updates to it. If you think you were charged in error, write to [email protected] first.
Age
You may buy from the age of 16, or from the age at which the law of your country lets you enter into an agreement like this one, whichever is higher.
Your account
Your password and the mailbox your account is registered to are yours to keep safe. You can delete the account from your profile at any time; keys already issued keep working in the app, but disappear from the account page.
Limitation of liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profit, revenue or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms and announce material changes on the site. A change never shortens the licence or the update period you already paid for.
Licence Agreement (EULA)
Grant
The developer of TunedMic grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to install and use TunedMic on up to 2 Macs that you own or control.
Updates
Your key covers every release published until the "updates until" date shown in your account, and the versions you installed before it keep working after it. A "forever" key covers every release.
Restrictions
You may not share, resell or publish your key, decompile or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it, or remove its notices. The virtual audio driver is part of the app and is licensed under the same terms.
Ownership
The app is licensed, not sold. The developer keeps all rights in it. Your voice and recordings stay yours: processing happens on your Mac.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it works with every microphone, app or macOS version, or that it is free of errors.
Termination
The licence ends if you break these terms. On termination you must delete the app.
Privacy Policy
Who we are
The developer and seller of TunedMic.
What we collect
Your email (sign-in, receipts and key delivery), your password as a one-way hash, your licence keys and purchase records (amount, currency, status and the confirmation lava.top sends us, never card details), and minimal technical logs (IP address) to prevent abuse.
What the app sends
Nothing about your voice. Sound Check and processing run on your Mac, and the measurement buffer is erased after analysis. The app checks for updates; that request carries no personal data.
How we use it
To deliver keys and updates, prevent fraud and answer support. We do not sell your data and send no marketing without your consent.
Cookies
Functional cookies only: your sign-in session and language choice.
Processors
lava.top (payments), our email provider (key and verification emails) and our hosting provider.
Retention
Account data is kept while the account exists. Licence records are kept after account deletion so support can find a key by email. Technical logs are deleted within 30 days.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and a copy. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 14 days.
